About the Event
Galpo Gaucho is a Brazilian steakhouse (that's the type of place that brings the meat...a lot, a lot of meat) located in North Napa on the corner of Hwy 29 and Trower. Conspicous as the concept and the location might be for these here parts, it oddly works - and their Happy Hour ranks among the best in town. It's actually better than their traditional dining style IMHO. Did someone say bottomless (AND FREE) cheesy biscuits?!?! The bar is swanky too. Website.

$7 top-shef drink offers (think Belvedere cocktails, glasses of Chandon sparkling, and their famous Caipirinha), $5 beers and 20% discount on their generously sized bar plates such as cheese board, Pichana steak, and bacon wrapped chicken. Oh and most importantly - THEY KEEP BRINGING YOU BRAZILIAN CHEESE BREAD which is so joyous, it deserves the all caps.
Tipsy Traipsers' Order Recommendations:
You can order your $7 Belvedere however you like - you should make it a vodka martini. Order the Pichana and share it, you can get it with mashed potatoes and opt for the steamed veggies instead of salad (I mean, it's a personal preference but their veggies are delicious). The cheese board is a great share plate as well. Finally- our best Galpo advice - if the cheesy bread basket goes dry, don't be shy. Ask for more and it will come. It's actually quite magical.
